To obtain a verification of the qualifications of a current or former student of the University, employers, prospective employers, screening agencies and other organisations should submit the request to the Graduation and Verifications Team in the Student Services Centre. Please note that verifications cannot be obtained over the phone.
Verification requests should be sent via email to verifications@manchester.ac.uk. Email is the preferred method of contact but you can also contact us by fax or by post, although response times may be slower.

The majority of students who graduated from 2007 onwards can use our secure online system called e-Docs to share their formal results with you.
Please note that we cannot provide character references for our current or former students. Such requests should be directed to the appropriate School within the University and will be dealt with at their discretion. If we receive any such requests, we will pass it on to the School, which may delay the response.
We may need to query some requests if the data provided is not complete or does not match our records. Appropriate requests via email will be processed as quickly as possible although requests sent by fax or post will take longer.
