The University of Manchester's analytical equipment and facilities are mainly used to support our teaching and research activities. However, we also hire our extensive range of apparatus to organisations.

If you require one of our large and expensive pieces of equipment, it is recommended that you also use the services of our staff. Technicians can give advice on how to operate the appliances while academics can assist in the design of test measurements and the interpretation of any results.

The University will assist your search for the correct piece of equipment as well as identifying appropriate members of our staff and support network who can help you.
