Benefits

A driving force in the agreement is the recognition by both parties that individual and shared benefits will accrue.

These include translational research, facilitating the application of basic science across a broad range of activity, and joint efforts to secure the UK science base.

To achieve these benefits AstraZeneca and The University of Manchester will exchange staff, share facilities and encourage joint ventures in a bid to better understand a wide variety of conditions.
