Fashion is a force for good was a panel discussion, hosted at The University of Manchester, to explore the challenges and changes facing the textiles industry and the developments in the textiles supply chains to ensure employees are getting a fair deal for producing the clothes we wear.

The panel was made up of experts from academia, skills organisations and the textiles industry, while the audience included representatives from local businesses as well as students and academic staff.

The discussion was organised by The University of Manchester’s Faculty of Humanities and Business Engagement and Social Responsibility teams.
