Healthy futures

In Manchester and across the UK, we’re seeing a dramatic increase in cancer, heart disease and dementia. Obesity and diabetes are spiralling out of control, while in the developing world, millions continue to die needlessly from preventable diseases.

We’re tackling the biggest health problems head on. We are conducting pioneering research in everything from dementia, heart disease and diabetes to cancer, hearing loss and still birth.

We work across the board to tackle the biggest healthcare challenges in the modern world. By doing so, we aim to bring better healthcare outcomes to people in Manchester, the UK, and around the world.

Undertaking research is not enough, it’s what we do with that knowledge that makes a difference. Our scientists and engineers work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure our cutting-edge research benefits patients and starts saving lives as soon as possible.

Your donation could help fund this vital research, helping us to find new and better treatments and give everyone the chance of a healthy future.
