Research partnership with King Saud University
In March 2016 The University of Manchester welcomed a senior delegation from King Saud University to finalise an agreement which secures funding for collaborative research on nanotechnology.
In March 2016 The University of Manchester welcomed a senior delegation from King Saud University to finalise an agreement which secures funding for collaborative research on nanotechnology.
The overarching theme for the collaboration is entitled ‘Developing Novel Nano-technologies for Biomedical and Petrochemical Applications’.
The collaboration features three sub-projects looking at the following specific areas:
- bone regeneration;
- drug delivery;
- advanced sensors for petrochemical operations.
The collaboration with King Saud University has the potential to develop in scope and breadth and we look forward to a long and productive partnership.
