Abstract

The present application discloses a hermetically sealed metal receptacle con-taining a medicinal aerosol formulation, preferably a pressurized medicinal aerosol formulation, or a liquefied aerosol propellant, wherein at least a portion of the receptacle comprises metal foil (1) having a thickness of from 25µm to 250µm which is laser welded to form a hermetic seal. The present application describes also a method of manufacturing such a hermetically sealed metal receptacle.
