Abstract
Three model secondary alcohols have been subjected to enzymatic kinetic resolution using three common lipases and a typical acyl donor. The resolutions were performed in two pressurised low-boiling hydrofluorocarbons, which are novel media for enzymatic reactions, and five conventional organic solvents.
