Entry requirements

General requirements for undergraduate courses

Candidates with an Apolytirion of Eniaio Lykeio are considered for undergraduate entry provided that there are no specific subject prerequisites. For direct undergraduate entry, requirements may range from 18 to 19.5 depending on individual programme requirements.

In some cases, where a high level is required in a particular subject, additional A levels or a foundation year may be required. A score of 17 or above is usually acceptable for entry onto our foundation year.

General requirements for postgraduate/research courses

Greek university degrees with a percentage point score of 6.5 or above are generally accepted for entry on to masters programmes.

Candidates with qualifications gained from Technical Training Institutes are generally required to follow a pre-MSc course before advancing to regular masters programmes.

English language requirements

English Language requirements vary by course and department but are usually the equivalent of IELTS 6.0 - 7.5.

Some departments ask that the appropriate score has been met before you apply for a course whilst other departments give conditional offers subject to applicants achieving our general entry requirement level of English Language proficiency before starting the course.

Other entry requirements

Please note that this is generic information only. Faculties and Schools have different entry requirements and some qualifications may not be acceptable for certain courses, so it is important to check with the School directly before you apply.

Some courses have additional entry requirements such as previous work experience, submission of written work with the application or previous study of a particular subject.
