The University welcomes Indonesian students who wish to study across a range of subjects and come here from a variety of different institutions. In 2011, 83 students from Indonesia were studying at The University of Manchester.
Manchester has a very large British Muslim community as does the University. Muslim students can therefore be assured that we understand their needs. Our refectories serve halal food, we have a mosque on campus and there is an Islamic Students Society which plays an active and constructive role in the life of the University.
