The University of Manchester is one of the UK's most popular destinations for students from the United Arab Emirates.
We currently have 56 students from the UAE studying in a range of disciplines.
Given our experience in hosting students from the UAE and the Gulf Region in general, we are confident that we are well equipped to meet the specific academic, religious and dietary needs of students coming from this region.
Manchester is a vibrant multicultural city with a large Muslim population. There are two prayer rooms provided on campus and there are a number of Mosques located near the University and student areas.
Many of our restaurants serve a selection of Halal certified meals and sandwiches, and many front line staff have completed training on how to deliver Halal food.
