Research in new media technologies on citizen participation and election campaigning. In particular we are looking for proposals that are comparative in nature that will examine how political and social context shapes and mediates the effects of developments in communication technology upon society.
We are also interested in work that will be methodologically innovative in using new web-based methods for conducting online research, as well as more standard techniques of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
