Full entry requirements
Academic entry qualification overview: Applicants would usually be expected to have a 1st or upper 2nd class honours degree (or an equivalent overseas qualification) in a mathematical subject. In some research areas a background in physics, engineering or computer science is also acceptable.
English language:
Students whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in writing and no module less than 5.5 (or a recognised equivalent qualification).
Students should normally have a minimum of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent prior to application.
