Duration: 12 months full-time
Entry requirements: The course is open to medical or science graduates and intercalating medical students. A BSc (normally a 1st or 2:1), MBChB, or equivalent is expected from a British university in an appropriate biological or medical subject. International candidates must have obtained the equivalent of a 2:1 in a related degree from a reputed University. Candidates on the undergraduate medical programme must have satisfactorily completed years 1-3 of the MBChB with no failure at any examination and be able to demonstrate a motivation for laboratory-based research in Genetic medicine.
