Duration: 24 or 36 months PT
A good honours degree at 2:2 or above, or the international equivalent, in a social science subject or similar.
Students who do not meet the full entry requirement, but who have substantial experience of people with profound and complex learning disabilities, are encouraged to apply for the Postgraduate Certificate course. On successful completion of the Certificate course, to the required standard, they may transfer to the Masters degree with agreement of the Programme Director.

All fees for entry will be subject to yearly review and incremental rises per annum are also likely over the duration of courses lasting more than a year for UK/EU students (fees are typically fixed for International students, for the course duration at the year of entry). Fees do not include travel and accommodation at the yearly residential study school in Manchester. The duration is 3-4 days each October for students taking the course over three years and 6-8 days over two consecutive weekends in October in the first year for students completing the course in two years.
