- A recognised primary degree in a dental subject and a preferred minimum of two years post qualification experience
- A degree (minimum 2:2) in a non-clinical subject and preferably two years of working experience. Normally the degree will be in a science or social science subject and the individual will be working in some area with a link to oral health. In all cases, the degree held must be from a recognised institution.

MRes (part-time distance learning)
UK/EU students: £722 per unit, dissertation £1,928
International students: £1,222 per 15 credits, dissertation £2,268
Degree awarded: Master of Research
Duration: MRes 1 yr FT, 2-5 years PT or standalone units

The totals given above are estimations based on completion of all elements within the year stated. The unit and dissertation costs are subject to yearly incremental rises and these values will increase next July.
