Informatics for Healthcare Systems: Improving Skills for Patient Driven Healthcare

Duration: 6 months

Entry requirements:

The course is open to any persons who seek to develop their health informatics knowledge and work in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or academic sectors that hold an undergraduate degree (at least 2.2) or demonstrate extensive high-level work-related experience

Course fees: For entry in the academic year beginning September 2013, the tuition fees are as follows:

  • Modular (part-time distance learning)
    UK/EU students: Fees paid directly to School by NW Strategic Health Authority
  • Modular (part-time distance learning)
    UK/EU students: Fees paid directly to School by NW Strategic Health Authority
For entry for the course beginning November 2013, the tuition fees are £3200

Scholarships/sponsorships: If you are a North West Health Informatician and your organisation is a member of the Informatics Skills and Development Network, the NW SHA will fund 75% of the cost with individual organisations contributing the remaining 25%.
