Full entry requirements
Academic entry qualification overview:
Applicants should hold a minimum of 2:1 honours degree from a UK university, or a qualification recognised as equivalent.
All selected candidates must have attained a standard in English, mathematics and science which is equivalent to the standard required to achieve a grade C in GCSE examination. All selected candidates will have equivalent to two A levels at grade C or above in preferred subjects. GCSE Science equivalency tests will be considered in cases where an applicant has not previously had the opportunity to sit the Science GCSE. The Science equivalency test result must be in place prior to the start of the course. Equivalency tests for English and Mathematics will not be accepted.
English language: Students whose first language is not English require IELTS 7.0 with 7.0 in writing and no other component below 5.5; TOEFL internet-based test 100 with 25 in writing and no other component below 20; or Pearson Test of English with a score of 66 with 66 in writing and no other component below 51.

Relevant work experience:
Candidates are expected to have completed 5 days observation experience in a primary school following a relevant UK orientated curriculum prior to completing the GTTR application. This experience should normally have been completed within the last three years.
