Advice to applicants

Students are advised that the best applications:

  • Contain all the required documents, including references and certificates
  • Contain a 300-500 word statement about why they wish to take this course and how it will affect their personal and professional development; this statement should refer to their current role
  • Are submitted in good time and arrive before the course deadline

International Students: Please upload a copy of your current valid passport showing the photograph page with your application.

Please note that applications cannot be assessed until copies of required certificates and references have been received. References on headed paper that have been scanned will be accepted. These can be uploaded electronically during the application process, emailed to mph.admissions@manchester.ac.uk or mailed to:

Re-applications

If you applied in the previous year and your application was not successful you may apply again. Your application will be considered against the standard course entry criteria for that year of entry. In your new application you should demonstrate how your application has improved. We may draw upon all information from your previous applications or any previous registrations at the University as a student when assessing your suitability for your chosen course. If you are applying for a place for the same year of entry through UCAS Extra, you should provide additional evidence of your suitability for the course. If you are applying through clearing you are required to meet the clearing requirements. In both UCAS Extra and clearing the places will be subject to availability.
