Primarily vaccine research, but also teaching on virology and vaccines

Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Tropical Medicine, North Manchester General Hospital:

General clinical infectious diseases & topical medicine, both inpatients and outpatients. Mainly HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and a variety of exotic infections. Outpatient antibiotic therapy. Teaching of junior doctors & medical students. Clinical research: Principal Investigator on meningitis and encephalitis studies; Clostridium difficile vaccine trial.
