Qualifications

RGN, RM, ADM, Cert Ed, PhD,  BA (Hons: 1st Class) professional and vocational studies, MSc Practitioner Research. ITEC level 3 in Complementary Therapies.

Role

I teach at all levels in the pre- registration midwifery programme along with post-graduate teaching and MSc supervision.

My teaching focus is in three main areas: Medical complications during the childbearing continuum, research method and professional accountability issues for midwives. I have an interest in intrapartum care; particularly fear of birth and have completed a metasynthesis on this topic in June 2012.
