School of Psychological Sciences

The School is a vibrant and flourishing centre of research. As well as the work conducted by its own research groups, the School also plays a major role in the Neuroscience Research Institute and is an important member of the University-wide Institute of Health Sciences.

Research is organised into research groups. These groups produce internationally recognised research and members include world leaders in the development and evaluation of psychological and psycho-social interventions. These are:

• Language and communication
• Cognition and cognitive neuroscience
• Clinical neuroscience and language disorders
• Clinical and health psychology
• Audiology and deafness
