Biography

 

Gary Lynch-Wood is a Lecturer in Law and Regulation in the School of Law. He is the Course Director for Legal Methods and Systems, which is a core unit taught to all first-year undergraduates, and also Co-Course Director for a very popular postgraduate course entitled Regulating Corporate Social Responsibility. Gary was the School Exams Officer from September 2010 to August 2011, and has now taken on the role of LLB Programme Director. In addition, he is an Honorary Fellow of Gray’s Inn and a core member of the China-EU School of Law (CESL). His research mainly focuses on regulation and the social and environmental behaviour of firms, and he has published widely on these issues in leading journals, such as the Journal of Law and Society, the Journal of Environmental Law, and the Journal of Business Ethics. Gary is also a core member of ‘ManReg’ (The Manchester Centre for Research on Regulation, Governance and Security).
