Dr Ian Fairweather - further information
During my academic career I have been committed to the teaching and learning processes. 'Anthropology Coordinator' at the Centre for Sociology, Anthropology and Politics, I have acted as a point of contact between the disciplinary community and the Higher Education Academy and been responsible for establishing a special interest group on 'teaching religion in the social sciences'. As the role of the Higher Education Academy continues to evolve in changing times my work with C-SAP is also changing and I have now accepted the position of 'Disipline Associate' which will allow me to continue to support teaching and learning in anthropology. Since 2008 I have also been a member of the Association of Social Anthropologists committee representing C-SAP and teaching and learning issues.
