Ingrid Storm is a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research. Her main interests are in religious change and the impact of religion on social behaviour. She is currently working on a three year project (2015-2017) called "Faith in the Face of Uncertainty", about the relationship between financial insecurity and religion in Europe. The aim is to investigate whether ecomomic insecurity makes people more religious, and how religion may ameliorate the experience of insecurity. Ingrid has a PhD from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Manchester and an MA in Anthropology from Binghamton University. She is affiliated with the Department of Sociology and the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE).
