Role: Lecturer in Interpretating and Translation
In 2006 I obtained an MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies (distinction), and after a brief period of working as a freelance translator and interpreter, was offered staff interpreter jobs for the EU and UN. From 2008 I worked as a staff interpreter for the European Parliament. I joined the University of Manchester in 2013, where I now contribute to the MA in Conference Interpreting and to the MA in Translation and Interpreting Studies.
Prior to training as an interpreter, I graduated from the University of Cambridge and went on to obtain a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law. I haev also completed an M(Res) in Politics.
