Dr Anne Stafford - research

Her research interests lie in the area of critical and historical analysis of institutions and accountability. One current area of research is the financial analysis of public policy. She has carried out research into the private finance initiative and public private partnerships, in particular the financial evaluation and reporting of PFI/PPP projects both in the UK and in Europe. Another area of research is investigating from a disciplinary perspective the relationship between professional development and academic knowledge in accounting, including the development of professionalisation within accounting.
