Volunteerd as a Research Technican for Dr.Joanne Pennock, University of Manchester during my Masters.
Part-time Research Technican during my gap-year of my Masters at the University.
Masters project in Mark Travis's group monitoring regulatory T cells during intestinal nematode infections, contributed to a published paper.

Bachelors in B.Tech Genetic Biotechnology at Sathyabama University, Chennai,India followed by my Masters at the University of Manchester in Immunology and Immunogenetics. I have been working as a part of the University since my graduation in 2011.
I am the main Research technician for the newly formed Manchester Fungal Infection Group (MFIG) based in the CTF building on Grafton street.
My current main role is to manage, organise and ensure good and safe laboratory working environment for all the member groups in the MFIG. I offer support, training and induction to new members joining the MFIG and assist current members in risk-assesments, COSHH and other aspects of health&safety. I am also in-charge of maintaining laboratory general consumables stocks, chemicals ordering and equipment maintenanace and servicing. I organise and provide local training to group members before the use of laboratory equipment.
