Nikhil Masters is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester. His research interests are in behavioural/experimental economics with particular focus on the intersection between economics and psychology.
Current research projects include examining the causal relationship between incidental emotions and risk attitudes; the link between physiological pain perception and pro-social behaviour; and the role of peer effects in interpersonal attraction. Nikhil obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham under the supervision of Chris Starmer and Tim Lloyd.
