Access to research and consultancy services

We offer a wide range of research facilities and services for businesses which are available to both public and private sectors. These range from analytical equipment to conference facilities, to the transfer of intellectual property through licencing and enterprises and consultancy work. Our academic Schools and Centres can provide specific commercial services in many fields including libraries, translation, sports, media and computing.

The University of Manchester's equipment and facilities are mainly used to support our teaching and research activities. However, we also hire out our extensive range of apparatus to organisations and the University can assist your search for the correct piece of equipment, as well as identifying appropriate members of our staff and support network to help you.
