Biography

Patrick Gaydecki, BSc, PhD, FIET, MInstP, CPhys, CEng, MINstP, SMIEEE was appointed as a Lecturer in Instrumentation in 1990, a Senior Lecturer in 1995 and a Reader in 2003. He was appointed as Professor of Digital Signal Processing in 2005. His research interests include the design and development of real-time digital signal processing hardware for high speed and audio bandwidth applications, the development of instrumentation and software for nondestructive testing of materials using a variety of sensing modalities, and the design of systems and software for biomedical applications.
