I have worked in CCSR since 2003 working on the Economic and Social Data Service, a service to provide support for people using the large-scale government surveys in research and teaching. Before joining CCSR I worked at the Office for National Statistics (ONS) as a researcher on large-scale national surveys. I have also held research posts at Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Stirling.

Research interests:  ethnicity and obesity;  health inequalities;  health behaviours;  secondary analysis

My current research looks at ethnic differences in obesity, diet and physical activity using the Health Survey for England. This research project is funded as a by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) through the Understanding Population Trends and Processes (UPTAP) programme.
