Programme description

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Computer Science is a division of the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. Its function is to provide PhD research programmes according to a new four year model accepted by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of its new focus on the future of PhD training within the UK. Each programme consists of an initial `foundation period' of six months followed by a 3.5 year period of focused PhD level research, carried out under the supervision of a PhD supervisor.

Further details can be found on the CDT programme webpages .
