Power Networks offers the opportunity to choose a project from a wide range of energy related topics, including design, operation, changes to energy demands, cross-cutting technologies, and low-carbon energy sources.

Projects in M4DE primarily focus on addressing the needs of the oil and gas, aerospace and nuclear industries, and will include cross-sector materials challenges.

The projects are to be offered to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds to encourage exciting multidisciplinary research.
