Discover Audiology – Thursday, 26 November 2015
At Discover Audiology you’ll find out more about the audiology course at The University of Manchester, providing an insight into clinical roles and information about future career options.
You’ll attend a real university lecture in audiology, attend practical classes to learn about clinical aspects of the subject and attend talks about admissions and future career options. Throughout the day you’ll work with academic and clinical teaching staff, technicians and trained postgraduate students.
The Audiology and Deafness (A&D) Group at Manchester is the oldest audiology department in the UK, dating back to 1919 and recognised as the premier centre for audiology and deaf education within the EU.
The group is an international centre of excellence for research, with high grant income, strong links with industry and the NHS, and measurable impact on treatments and policy both nationally and internationally.
