Our Discover Nursing Day offers the chance to gain hands-on experience of the degree programme on offer at Manchester.

This programme offers the chance to study Child, Adult and Mental Health Nursing. The School is recognised as one of the world’s leading nursing education and research departments and was ranked 2nd in the QS World University Rankings 2017 and 1st in the UK.
On this day we offer you an opportunity to speak to current students about their student experience here at Manchester.
The time that I spent on placements taught me the foundations of nursing care whereas the lectures have also proven invaluable, I often use my notes to better understand what I have seen in surgery and apply this knowledge to my future practice
You can also take part in a taster session and have a tour of our clinical skills labs where you will be able to see how we deliver simulated learning within our curriculum.
