How to apply

Course description

This course has been developed to give you the skills you need to register with the General Dental Council as dental therapists or dental hygienists, and helps provide a holistic approach to primary dental care.

You will be trained to undertake a number of clinical procedures, such as periodontal treatment, simple fillings, dental radiographs and the extraction of primary teeth. You will also develop excellent communication skills to motivate and encourage patients to develop good oral health practices.

Fees

Tuition fees for home/EU students commencing their studies in September 2016 will be £9,000 per annum. Tuition fees for international students will be £30,000 per annum. For general information please see the undergraduate finance pages.
