'Throughout the entire degree you will have the opportunity to study ancient languages as part of your programme, or else select more fieldwork-based or optional modulesBA (Hons) in Ancient History and Archaeology is a joint degree which combines two disciplines and provides students with a knowledge of two complementary approaches to the past. Students are provided with training in essential historical skills and given a broad background to the classical history of the Mediterranean World (including Greek and Roman history, theory and methodology) and a global view of archaeology (Old and New World from the Neolithic to the post-Medieval period, as well as theory and practice of archaeology).
Fees for entry in 2017 have not yet been set. For entry in 2016 the tuition fees were £9,000 per annum for home/EU students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2017 entry.
