You should not usually apply for more than one of the biological and biomedical sciences courses offered by The University of Manchester. Please contact us for advice if you are planning to do so.
This degree programme is designed for students who are committed to Biological Sciences but have not yet decided on the area in which they want to specialise. Students can then make that decision from a position of greater knowledge at the end of the first year. The combination of modules taken in the first year enables students to transfer to most of our biological and biomedical sciences courses.
The University runs several open days per year.
We also operate campus tours, which are available most days. These are with a student ambassador who can tell you all about life at The University of Manchester. It may also be possible to meet with admissions staff (subject to staff availability). These tours are open to anybody thinking of applying to us for any of the biological and biomedical sciences. Family and friends are welcome too.
To book, please contact the Admissions Office on tel +44 (0)161 275 5032 or email email@example.com
Fees for entry in 2017 have not yet been set. For entry in 2016 the tuition fees were £9,000 per annum for home/EU students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2017 entry.
