Discover History - 27 June 2012

'History' covers a range of exciting subjects that can be explored at The University of Manchester. History courses can include modules on ancient, medieval, modern, economic and social history, as well as on the history of science, technology and medicine. Students can also specialise in topics which include British, European, American, African and Asian history.

History can also be studied with various combinations of subjects, including Politics, Economics, American Studies and Sociology. There are also a range of history-related courses, including Archaeology, Art History, Classics and Ancient History, as well as Museum Studies.

This day will give you the chance to explore the wide variety of degrees and course options available within the study of History at Manchester, as well as gain information on the diverse range of potential career opportunities open to History graduates.

Our History staff and students will be available throughout the day, and there will be a dedicated question-and-answer session with our current students. The day will also include a campus tour where you can see some of the teaching spaces, learning facilities and social spaces on our Oxford Road campus.
