Activities for parents and carers

Parents and carers play an important role in supporting learners in higher education (HE) and we recognise that you will require specific information on subjects such as finance, careers, personal safety and moving away from home. We actively encourage the involvement of parents in many of our activities and you are warmly invited to:

• Undergraduate open days
• Weekly guided visits for parents of post-application offer-holders
• Guided campus tours
• Summer schools and other event celebrations

In addition, we organise an annual Parents' Rough Guide to Higher Education event to familiarise the parents of pupils involved in our different outreach programmes with the HE system.
