It promises to be another exciting and successful year for SPORT Manchester with lots of competitions, tournaments, new health and fitness activities, more free events and plenty of socialising. We aim to get everyone involved and hope that you will be able to find the right balance to enable you to participate in the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity three times every week.
More than 80 health, fitness and well-being classes run every week, ranging from relaxing yoga to high-energy aerobics, plus an all new strength-building kettle bell class.
3,500 students take part in the campus sport leagues every week, giving beginners and recreational players the chance to play in a fun yet competitive environment. Our 46 Athletic Union sport clubs compete weekly against other universities in the British University and Colleges Sport league.
Alternatively, you can access a whole host of sport and fitness facilities across campus, so you can play or exercise in your own time. As a student you will be entitled to discounted memberships and fees at any of the University sports facilities.
