Recruiters target The University of Manchester because our graduates are highly employable. In fact, according to recent research we are the university most often targeted by Britain's top graduate employers ('The Graduate Market in 2012', High Flyers Research).
Graduate destinations data collected by the University reveals that in 2009/10 73% of Manchester graduates who got jobs went straight into graduate level employment. The average salary for graduates from The University of Manchester was £21,000, with 11 graduates walking straight into jobs commanding a six-figure salary. A further 75 Manchester graduates picked up more than £50,000 as a starting salary last year.
