HCRI students go on research field trips to Uganda and Mumbai
Staff and students from the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute went on two research field trips abroad at the beginning of January.
Seventeen postgraduate students from our MA Humanitarianism and Conflict Response and MSc International Disaster Management courses visited Northern Uganda researching the legacies of war.
Simultaneously, another group of undergraduate students visited Mumbai to research the memorialisation of the 2008 terror attacks.
Both research visits lasted for ten days and helped the students learn how to conduct fieldwork.
