John Rylands Research Institute and Library closed on Friday, 8 October 2021

The Rylands will reopen as normal from Saturday, 9 October 2021.

The John Rylands Research Institute and Library will be closed to the public and researchers on Friday, 8 October 2021.

This means you won’t be able to book a ticket to visit the Rylands, or an appointment to access material in the Special Collections Reading Room, for 8 October 2021.

Reopening Saturday

We’ll be back open as normal and ready to welcome you from Saturday, 9 October 2021.
