Mat Paterson on Renewables at Labour and Conservative Party Conferences

Mat Paterson

Professor Mat Paterson, Director of the Sustainable Consumption Institute, attended both the Conservative and Labour Conference to discuss whether renewables can get us out of the cost of living crisis. The events were organised by Policy@Manchester. The panels explored the impact of renewables on energy security and energy bills, given the combination of rising energy costs, threats to gas supplies and the net zero deadline.

Professor Paterson has recently published In Search of Climate Politics (Cambridge University Press)
