Miller: à propos Picasso

Recently, Dr Charlie Miller appeared on BBC Radio 4’s 'The Forum: Picasso: Artist of Reinvention', one of the most influential artists of the 20th Century, who changed our way of seeing with his radical innovation and revolutionary approach.

Dr Miller’s research focuses on the history and theory of the avant-garde.

His first book project, 'Radical Picasso', will be appearing soon and reinscribes Picasso's interwar production in the history of theory. It has won the Phillips Book Prize for first book manuscripts.

His previous work has considered Picasso's practice with histories of psychoanalysis and archaeology, across the historical discourse of sexuality and also considered the relationship between Picasso's historical agency and the concept of genius.
