MUARG policy blog selected for new COVID-19 lessons collection

'COVID-19 and social inequalities: Developing community-centred interventions' will form part of Policy@Manchester's new collection titled 'One Year On: Lessons from lockdown'.

Policy@Manchester have released a new collection, One Year On: Lessons from lockdown, which brings together research insights into the issues the pandemic has highlighted and recommendations to address them.

This new collection is a snapshot in time, sharing some of the key policy recommendations to build back better and build back fairer. Its release falls one year on from the WHO announcement of COVID-19 as a pandemic on 11 March 2021, and at a time when the schools go back, the vaccine rollout moves into the next phases, and a recovery period begins.

MICRA and MUARG researchers have authored several Policy blogs throughout the course of the pandemic, and the blog 'COVID-19 and social inequalities: Developing community-centred interventions' by Professor Chris Phillipson, Dr Sophie Yarker, Dr Luciana Lang, Dr Patty Doran, Dr Mhorag Goff, and Dr Tine Buffelhas been included in this new Policy collection.

You can view the collection on the Policy@Manchester site.
