Music at Manchester gets Sunday Times Good University Guide top spot

The University of Manchester’s Music Department has been ranked top in the country in the 2020 edition of the revered Sunday Times Good University Guide.

The newspaper selects one centre of excellence for more than 60 subject areas based on a selection of criteria including course entry standards, student opinion on the quality of teaching, the outcomes of the REF 2014 research assessments, graduate job prospects and overall university experience.

Not only was Music at The University of Manchester placed at the top of the podium, but it achieved a high score of 100, thanks to its excellent prospects for graduates.
