New Rylands Gallery exhibition now open

Our Rylands Gallery has reopened following some improvements and the installation of a new exhibition to explore protest, challenge and change.

The new exhibition, in line with the themes of our Peterloo exhibition, is a celebration of revolution and the contribution of individuals whose stories feature within the Special Collections of The John Rylands Library.

The content has been curated to complement the Peterloo exhibition really well. We hope it will be an added attraction and learning point when visiting the Library.
Josie Sykes, Visitor Engagement Manager

The exhibition explores figures such as William Morris, designer and socialist activist and Lydia Becker, an early campaigner for women’s suffrage.

Visit The John Rylands Library now to see the exhibition which runs until Autumn.
